Emaar Garden Competition 2015 – awarding the communities’ finest gardens
The best landscaped gardens in the Arabian Ranches and Emirates Living communities competed at Emaar Community Management’s annual initiative, aimed at bringing Emaar’s focus on sustainable developments and environmental conservation to residents through active participation in gardening and landscaping.
One of the most popular events in our communities, the annual Emaar Garden Competition judged entries based on design, creativity, intent and style. This year, we also gave residents the opportunity to nominate a neighbour’s garden, thereby encouraging increased participation and nurturing community spirit.
Winners were awarded in the following categories:
Best Creative Small Garden: Zoran Zupcevic (Palmera, Arabian Ranches)
Best Creative Medium Garden: Graham Alban (Alvorada, Arabian Ranches)
Best Creative Large Garden: Rachel Hennessey (Mirador La Collecion, Arabian Ranches)
Best Landscaped Small Garden: Hossein Babaei and Panteha Radmehr (The Springs, Emirates Living)
Best Landscaped Medium Garden: Tania Choufani (The Meadows, Emirates Living)
Best Landscaped Large Garden: Jacqueline Bonner (La Avenida, Arabian Ranches)
Best Sustainable Garden (Eco-friendly): Stuart Parkins (The Springs, Emirates Living)
Special Prize – Environmentally Friendly: Ivana and Darryl Chiles (The Springs, Emirates Living)
The award ceremony was held during Emirates Living Market Day at the lawn behind Springs 15, where winners were presented with customised crystal trophies and gift vouchers.
