What is TNR?

TNR stands for Trap-Neuter-Return and is endorsed by the ASPCA and Dubai Municipality. Through the programme, stray/abandoned pets are trapped by volunteers and transported to our supporting vet clinics – Energetic Panacea and Nad Al Shiba Veterinary Clinic where they are health-checked and spayed/neutered. They are then returned to the same area where they were trapped to maintain the ecological balance.

Over the past two years, more than 300 cats in the community have been trapped and sterilised with the help of volunteers and staff members – much to the community’s relief. This ensures that cats do not multiply speedily, greatly reduces disturbance to residents from fighting or mating cats and keeps any rodent population in check.

The community drive has been well-received by our residents with a few even joining the drive as volunteers for the cause. If you would you like to join or support our volunteers, email us at
